This organization is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to join their Transportation Group in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area. This is an opportunity to take the lead on impactful projects, mentor emerging engineers, and grow within a company that rewards expertise, collaboration, and ownership.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and analysis of a wide range of transportation projects.
  • Prepare plans, reports, and specifications that meet client and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project tasks, budgets, and schedules with attention to detail and accountability.
  • Coordinate with municipalities, IDOT, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality results.
  • Collaborate on projects ranging from highways and roundabouts to shared-use paths, traffic systems, and drainage improvements.
  • Mentor and guide emerging engineers within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).

  • 7 – 10 years of transportation design experience.

  • Illinois P.E. license (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).

  • Experience with IDOT and local municipal projects.

  • Proficiency in MicroStation ORD/GeoPAK or AutoCAD.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range

$125,000 – $160,000
